Hello, my Name Is Thomas, Co/founder of Ojeez brand new community and im here to talk about auto-responders and FFA's in your start ups, Emailing set ups and
ho-w to get a start with safelists. Safelists
are just a bunch of folks all emailing each
other about their products and pro-grams by
using the safelist servers to get the mail
back and forth without the members having
to do the mailing themselves. Everyone
agrees to accept each others mail. No sp-am
complaints.
The next thing I tried was the FFA sites.
These are places where you can post a fr-ee ad
and the only thing you agree to do is, accept
one email from that FFA site that you posted
your ad to.
Now-a-days everyone uses submitters to post ads
to FFA sites. That means software is doing all
the work for you. You are placing your ads on
alot of places fast. That also means you
aren't going to those sites and seeing other
peoples ads. Like wise they aren't seeing
yours either. Hence.. the death of FFA ads.
Also, if the FFA site can only show 50 ads at a time,
guess ho-w long your ad stays on their site ?
About two minutes..LOL Not good.
But hold on a minute. People just keep posting
ads to these sites. They don't understand that
no one is seeing their ads. But with FFA
submitters, it is to easy to do, so they keep
doing it.
So ho-w does that help us..?
If you are a member of an FFA site and ha-ve your
own FFA page, then people will be submit their ads
to your site. That means you get to send
them a confirmation letter to say thanks and to
tell them about what you are up to. Part of the
deal they agreed to when they posted their ad to
your site.
So her-re is what the FFA sites came up with.
If you jo-in an FFA site as a member, then they
do the emailing for you. They also go out and get
folks to come and post ads at your site for you
so you can email the folks who posted ads.
You set up a confirming letter and everyday the
owners of the FFA sites will send out your
confirmation emails to those who posted their
fr-ee ads on your FFA site. They will do the mailing
for you so you don't ha-ve to. That confirmation
email will ha-ve your ad-vertsiment in it.
All nice and legal like.
This is what they call "set and forget". They also
call this "reverse marketing". The good FFA sites
will also ha-ve a "delay" feature to delay your email
going out. A Very useful feature. Most site owner send
out their confirmation email right away. The posters
get flooded with emails the very next day. If you delay
your confirmation email a few days, the chance of them
reading your ad is greatly enhanced.
The amazing thing is, folks keep posting ads
to FFA sites like there is no tomorrow. Nobody
see's them but they keep doing it. The beauty is,
is that you get to keep emailing them. Day after
day without lifting a finger. There is a ne-ver
ending river of prospects that just keep coming.
These folks are in the bus-iness just like you.
Most are not making a nickle. Most will sooner
or later look at your ad. If your ad is just like
theirs, not much is going to happen for you.
But if your subject line looks like something that
may help them, you are on your way.
This is where you really ne-ed to do your homework
with your subject lines and text ads. Track and
track some more. You will start to see what works
and what doesn't. You will get the feel of this
whole bus-iness. Bottom line is not to expect your
world to be turned around the first month or two.
No matter what anyone tells you, this takes time.
Many Marketers are waiting forthat big break, always, no matter how long you been burning that midnight oil, you have to take things into consideration and get on that gravy train, go for the throat and climb to the top, who sys you have to start from the bottom! Only in schools and degrees my friends, if you have that? then shoot from the Hip and take hold at the top! FFA's, EMAIL Marketing,AD- Campaignes, all good!
